Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is a facial treatment which exfoliates skin and vacuums dead skin cells off the face. It increases blood flow to the skin helping to produce collagen and also helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines, minor scars and uneven skin tone. The machine uses a diamond tip for exfoliating the skin and the result is a vibrant, youthful glow.
The treatment can be combined with a facial massage afterwards for relaxation (Deluxe Facial is £55).
This can vary from 6-12 treatments depending on the individual’s skin and desired results.
This can be done as frequently as fortnightly or up to every eight weeks depending on your skin’s tolerance and desired effects.
The face is cleansed and then a steamer is used to open up pores. The microdermabrasion treatment is then carried out where the machine has a diamond tip to exfoliate the skin and it also vacuums up dead skin. Moisturiser and SPF 30 sunscreen is applied afterwards to help protect the skin.
Microdermabrasion can help to remove some blackheads however a more specialised treatment other than microdermabrasion will be needed specifically for blackhead removal if that’s your priority.
No makeup for 24 hours. Wear SPF 30 sunscreen every day for at least two weeks. Wait two weeks for any hair removal treatments.
