Liquid Rhinoplasty
Liquid Rhinoplasty is a non-surgical treatment which uses dermal filler to alter the shape of the nose. This treatment helps to eliminate the appearance of a dorsal hump and gives the nose a straighter side profile.
A ‘pixie tip’ can also help to create a more lifted appearance at the tip of the nose.
This treatment can also help to contour the nose and create symmetry for the front profile.
By strategically placing the filler, the nose appears straighter and more contoured.
The area is numbed using topical anaesthetic before carrying out the treatment to reduce any discomfort. The filler also contains lidocaine which helps minimise pain.
The body breaks down the filler over time and so results can last anywhere between 6-18 months depending on factors such as the client’s metabolism rate and age.
The results are visible instantly and there may be some swelling in the treated area. The filler takes two weeks to settle and some areas may need filler re-adding which is what the top up treatment is for.
There is no downtime after the treatment but aftercare instructions must be followed for the best recovery.
